Feeding Shouldn’t Feel This Hard.

Whether it’s breast, bottle, or both — your baby can feed with ease.

If you’re struggling with latch, supply, bottle refusal, pumping, pain, or just feel something’s off — you're in the right place.

Feeding is not just a technique. It’s relationship. It's rhythm. And it's worth getting support for.

Real Support. Real Relief.

I’m Julee Portner — speech-language pathologist (MS, CCC-SLP), lactation consultant (IBCLC), and infant bodyworker with 30+ years of experience helping families navigate feeding, digestion, and development.

Together, we’ll slow down, look at the whole picture, and figure out what your baby is asking for — even if they can’t tell us with words.

Ways We Work Together

Virtual Visit (Worldwide)
Clinic (Oahu: Diamond Head, Kahala and Kaneohe)

Home Visit (Throughout Oahu)

All visits are comprehensive.

Offering the best of each type:

online, in your home or pool, and wellness clinics for gentle and real life solution focused visits.

Supporting optimal development with clinical and body based care to address feeding challenges with breast, bottle, starting solids, dealing with tongue tie, sleep challenges, and body tension.

You'll leave with clarity and a plan — grounded in your baby and family's unique rhythm.

Even If Things Seem “Fine,” It’s Okay to Want More Ease

Feeding doesn’t have to be a struggle to be worth support.

You don’t have to be in crisis to be worthy of care.

If feeding feels disconnected, inconsistent, or tense —
or if you just want to feel better in your body as a parent — that’s enough.

This work is about prevention, not just intervention.
It’s about function, not just appearance.
It’s about protecting your bond, not just hitting a milestone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you support bottle feeding and pumping?

Yes. All feeding is welcome — breast, bottle, formula, expressed milk. I help families find rhythm and ease with whatever path they’re on.

Can I work with you virtually?

Absolutely. Virtual visits include full intake, feeding observation, coaching, and care planning.

What ages do you work with?

Most families come in during the newborn stage, but I also support older babies, NICU grads, preemies, and toddlers navigating feeding challenges.

Will I get a care plan?

Yes. Every visit ends with a custom plan and clear next steps. You’ll feel informed, supported, and empowered.

Do you take insurance?

I’m out-of-network, but provide superbills for possible reimbursement. HSA/FSA funds are welcome.
